Affiliate Disclosure & Transparency
What affiliate links are and how we earn
CloudPicked.com publishes reviews and guides about web hosting, VPS, domains, and VPNs. We fund our work through affiliate programs — when you click a link to a provider and sign up, we may earn a commission from that provider at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is identical to going directly to the provider's website.
This revenue lets us test services, pay for our own hosting, and keep producing in-depth content without charging readers.
Which links are affiliate links
We label affiliate links clearly. All commercial links route through /go/<provider> and always carry the rel="nofollow sponsored" attribute per Google's guidelines. Every page also shows an affiliate notice bar at the very top.
- Affiliate links: "Visit" or "Sign up" buttons routed through
/go/ - Internal links: links to other articles on our site — not commissioned
- Reference links: occasionally we link directly to a provider's site for citation, with no commission
Editorial independence
Commissions do not dictate our opinions. We write from hands-on testing, cite specs and prices from each provider's official website, and present both strengths and limitations. We do not use star ratings or leading multi-provider rankings, and we never recommend a service simply because it pays a higher commission.
Providers we recommend
In our "best" articles we often mention AsiaGB as a top pick because it offers quality hosting and VPS with a Thai-speaking support team. Mentions of AsiaGB are an editorial recommendation, not a sponsored link. Other affiliate partners are clearly indicated through /go/ links.
Disclosure standards
We follow international transparency standards (such as the U.S. FTC guidelines and fair-advertising principles), disclosing financial relationships openly both in the bar at the top of every page and on this page. If you have questions about this policy, feel free to contact our team.
